:eyepopping: oooohhh... i dont have much authority on the subject, but that's really amazing...
:iconkhcloud2005:
you dont need authority, all feedback is welcome!

nice concept..once again the double planet idea from moi. but you should make it brighter where the explosion and beam are. the beam is not very visually appealing beacuse it looks rather not real. but good job on the concept!
:iconkhcloud2005:
the beam is supposd to be "fantasy" like.

I'm amazed by what you can do w/ just photoshop. lighting is just awesome. +fav

Yeah...no. This is a ridiculouse image for several reasons. First of all, it's tiny. I can tell you put no thought into the composition of something you spent several hours on in photoshop. You obviously just read some shitball "how to" manual on making planets but you didn't read the whole thing because you were so gung ho about doing something that "looks cool" like all the ten billion other space/planet themed images submitted to the digital art section. You have no idea what you're doing. None of this makes any sense. The lighting is all fucked up. Okay first of all, if you can see this stuff from space as 100% white, then the entire half of the planet it is facing is going to light up, it's not just going to be a dim creseant. Secondly, the planet's atmosphere's don't react to the light either. It's like they are painted-on clouds. The edges of EVERYTHING is too hard. The stars in the background are just individual blue pixels on a 100% black background.

I'm seriously sick and tired of seeing these shitball images on planets and nebulas and shit on DA. None of it is ever original or interesting or exciting, not to mention none of it ever makes any sense and none of the artists know what the hell they are drawing, they are just completely fudging every aspect of the SCIENCE in the science fiction. It's rubber stamping of images straight from tutorials. Just stop it already.

erm but this aint science dude, its art and its "fantasy" it doesnt have to be so real like, sure its not his best work, the lighting isnt spectacular but its still pretty damn good in most ppls eyes.

and correct me if im wrong but i havent found any sci/fi digital art work made by you, so really what do you know?

and blue pixels for stars? umm what your saying they dont look like stars?! who gives a shit. if it looks like stars then it doesnt matter how he made it! he got the effect he was after so when you make up a sci/fi digital art piece thats better than Cloud's work then maybe ill reconsider my opinion of you ;)

oh and also if your sick of seein this stuff, dont look in this section.duh.
